  1. 100g bocconcini, drained, thinly sliced
  2. 4 slices pumpernickel or rye bread, halved lengthways (see Notes)
  3. 4 thin slices of prosciutto or good-quality ham

The instruction how to make Black croque monsieur

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high.
